Residential Landscape and Design

About our Landscape Architect, Tom Bradley

Tom Bradley joined Turner’s fifteen years ago to add a creative element to our design/build projects.

Tom has extensive experience in residential landscape design. A graduate of Landscape Architecture in 1980, Tom has thirteen years at other firms before joining Turner’s.

Tom’s ability to “see” what doesn’t exist and communicate those ideas to the client is a tremendous help in having homeowners realize the full potential of their property.

What is a landscaping plan?

Think of a landscaping plan as a map. It can be simple or very intricate. It includes:

  • The main elements of the landscape – lawn areas, shrub planting areas, water features such as pools and fountains, etc.
  • A detailed sketch helps a project run smoothly and efficiently – especially with our expert designer overseeing it. In addition, a detailed sketch minimizes expense.
  • Thorough scale drawings work well on complex and detailed landscapes. You may prefer this choice since it gives you a better understanding of the final result.
  • A detailed plant list allows you to look up each plant online to see what they look like and to review their characteristics.
